-Hand and Knee is a noise project created by John Grimaldi in 2012.

-Early HAK work was often lo-fi and leaning more towards strange experimental music, drone or sound collage than harsh noise. Microphone feedback squeals were often utilized along with keyboard/synth melodies, voice samples and manipulations of FL Studio sounds. Then came the "Torture Haven" album which contained blasts of harsh distortion noise, but was mostly a collage of obscure sounds. "Permanent Amnesia" from 2013 was the first HAK album with long harsh noise passages, as well as  subtle experimental pieces.

-Vocals are sometimes utilized, and lyrics can be yelled, screeched or simply spoken. Lyrical themes have included repression, obsession, fear, delusion and similar topics.
